Encrypted VPLS uses the advanced capabilities of MACsec encryption.

With MACsec, data packets are encrypted at layer 2, taking priority over Layer 3 encryption, such as IPsec and SSL. This makes it impossible for data to be compromised in transit.

Rather than hiding the contents of packets, MACsec encrypts packets on a hop-by-hop basis, allowing the network to manage traffic according to existing policies. And don’t worry, we can set policies to enforce MACsec where required, to allow network access for your non-MACsec traffic.
